Montreux
Renowned for its jazz festival, Montreux is a lively town with pedestrianized streets, architecture, a casino, statues, and more peaceful strolls along the shores of Lake Geneva. In addition to a tour of the town, we suggest that you take a step back in time and visit the Le Bec lounge bar in Chexbres to take full advantage of the expanse of the lake.
Gruyères
Gruyères is a medieval town in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. Known for its production of the cheese of the same name, we invite you to visit the cheese dairy La Maison du Gruyère before heading into the village, where a number of restaurants invite you to sample some excellent local Swiss cheese fondues.
For the rest of the day, we suggest a visit to the château and the Cailler chocolate factory, where there will be mouth-watering tastings.
Interlaken
Located in an area of lakes and mountains, Interlaken is a city that attracts skiers, hikers, and anyone who wants to enjoy a boat ride on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. In addition to a city tour, we offer a stop at the Lauterbrunnen waterfall, a visit to the St. Beatus Caves, and a stroll along Lake Thun.
Gstaad
A favorite destination for the jet set in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Gstaad is a village renowned for its fine restaurants and luxury boutiques. Comprising three ski areas, we suggest you take the cable car up to Glacier 3000 and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Annecy
This time we're heading for the French Alps to discover the town of Annecy. The old town, with its cobbled streets, winding canals, and pastel-colored houses, is a popular destination in southeast France.
Surrounded by mountains, the lakefront has plenty of bars and restaurants where you can sample the specialities of Haute-Savoie. If the weather gets too hot in the summer, you can cool off with a boat trip on the turquoise-blue lake.
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
Situated at the foot of Mont-Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is a resort between France, Switzerland, and Italy. As well as its lively year-round village, there are plenty of activities on offer, including skiing in its magnificent ski area, cable cars, and the Montenvers train ride, which will take you to panoramic views of neighboring peaks, such as the Aiguille du Midi, renowned for its feet-in-the-vacuum experience.
Yvoire
Classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Yvoire lies on the shores of Lake Geneva, not far from Thonon-les-Bains and Evian. This very peaceful little village will win you over with its stone houses and wooden balconies.
We recommend a stroll through the pedestrianized streets of the town to discover the beautiful boutiques selling artisanal products and to try one of the local restaurants for a taste of the specialties fished straight from the lake.
In the heart of the village, Le Jardin des Cinq Sens (The Garden of Five Senses) lets you discover or rediscover a wide variety of plants.
Courchevel, Méribel
For all seasons, the resorts of Courchevel and Méribel, located in France's Savoie region, offer a wide range of activities. The ski area extends over 300 km of pistes, which can be enjoyed in winter as well as in summer, such as those on the Grande Motte glacier. In town, bars and restaurants are clustered around Avenue Olympique.
